ArtSpan Art Auction - SOLD!
This year's ArtSpan juried benefit art auction was a huge success, both for the organization and for many of my fellow artists. It was wonderful to see so many people in attendance and to see how active the bidding was for the donated and juried artwork. An amazing evening, and happy to share that my piece, "If the Shoe Fits" also found a new home.
New Work! Baseball by the Bay
Over the years many people have asked me, "When are you doing AT&T Park?" "When will you celebrate the SF Giants and their baseball dynasty?" Well, I'm happy to say the time is now... After three months of work, I'm happy to say I've completed my latest piece, entitled "Baseball by the Bay". The composition celebrates the city of San Francisco, the SF Giants and the amazing people that make baseball in San Francisco so special. There is more detail in this piece than in much of my other work. And at the same time, it's not necessarily meant to be a 100% accurate representation of AT&T Park. It's far more about the spirit of the game, played by the San Francisco Bay, of those gathered on the field or in the stands or on their kayaks in McCovey Cove. Baseball by the Bay is available as a signed and numbered limited edition on both fine art paper and canvas. You can purchase this piece via this website, and I offer free shipping in the U.S.
New Installation at Ask.com Corporate Headquarters

I had the pleasure of meeting Danielle Fox of Slate Art Consulting during San Francisco Open Studios, and I'm happy to share that Slate recently installed a number of my signed limited editions at the Ask.com corporate offices in Oakland, CA. The pieces shown above, from left to right include; Pyramid Scheme, More Than Tweets the Eye, Viva Venti, Ice Cream Dream and Bottle Rocket. From cupcakes to social media to lattes to ice cream to champagne - these are a few of my favorite things - and it's great to share them with the people at Ask.com. A big thank you to the team at Slate. Wonderful people who have been supporting the arts and connecting art with the public for years. This installation will be up through March, 2015.

Happy New Year!
This is a belated Happy New Year and a big THANK YOU to all of you that made 2014 a great year. I was fortunate to share my art with a good number of new collectors and to meet and discuss my work with a lot of great people. I wish all of you an amazing, happy and prosperous 2015!

The Gift of Art
It's always an honor when someone decides to collect a piece of my work... And I find it equally special when someone decides to give my art as a gift to someone they care about - whether that be a friend or family member. This holiday season, I've been lucky to connect with a number of people that decided to give different this year by giving the gift of art. :)
Whether it was America's Cup SF heading to Philly, Dawn Patrol to Tahoe or Wine & Song to Napa Valley - it was all a sweet reminder of how lucky I am to do what I do.
Kentucky Kids Channel Kraft

I often tell my fellow artists that there are many forms of "payment" when it comes to what we do. Today, I received this photo from a middle school teacher in a small rural town in Western Kentucky. She had her students study my work, particularly my piece Lombard Street, and then create their own image titled "The Street Where I Live". This photo shows the works that her class created in "my style". I'm blown away and feeling much richer tonight.
Happy Holidays!

Hi, everyone. I hope this message finds you well as we enter the final month of the year. It's been an amazing year on all fronts... Of course part of the holiday season is picking that perfect gift for those your love.
My modest proposal to you this year is that you consider giving the gift of art. Even if that gift happens to be for yourself. :) You can view all my current artwork here, and this year I'm also offering the ability to buy virtual gift cards so that your family and friends can pick their favorite piece.
I'd also be happy to speak with you by phone and give you a guided tour of my site and answer any of your questions in real time, so feel free to contact me directly at 415 717 9209.
Thank you again for your continued support. From my family to yours, I wish you the very best this holiday season.
