Lakmé et Mallika (Diptych)

Original ready-to-hang mixed media and resin on wood panel diptych, each piece measuring 48 in. x 12 in. x 1.75 in. Lakmé et Mallika are characters from the opera, Lakmé, which premiered in Paris in 1883. In the first act, they perform the beautiful and now famous Duo des Fleurs (Flower Duet) while on their way to gather flowers by a river. This piece is part of my Secret Gardens collection.
